Green Party of Michigan Urges Nader to seek GPUS Nomination

"The Green Party of Michigan would like to join other Greens in
urging you to seek nomination as the Green Party of the United
States' presidential candidate in the 2008 election. We feel your understanding of national and international politics, your integrity, and your well-known lifelong commitment to democracy, social justice, consumer rights, and environmental protection would make you a strong contender for the highest office in the land.

"Although we do not have a lot of material resources at our disposal, we will do all in our power to conduct a dynamic, grassroots, door-to-door campaign on your behalf if you accept a GPUS nomination.

"Further, we encourage you to join the Green Party and
whole-heartedly help us build this alternative to the Corporate
Parties. As you know, the Green Party has resolved to run a
presidential candidate in 2008 and go all-out in supporting the Green ticket. We do not intend to follow the strategy of having "no nominee" and then endorsing an independent candidate.

"Thank you for all of the work you have done on behalf of the Green Party and all citizens. We would be honored to have you as our candidate, and hope you will decide to compete for the Green Party presidential nomination!"
